George Monroe Selby Jr., a 32-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, tragically lost his life on December 4, 2002, in Overton, Tennessee. Selby, who served as a deputy sheriff with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, was part of the Narcotics Unit. He was shot and killed while attempting to serve a search warrant at a home in Memphis.
