In the quiet community of Lookout Valley, Tennessee, the evening of April 9, 2014, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 53-year-old John F. Lang and two other men. Lang, a man of Japanese descent, was fatally shot near a gathering of campers and RVs on Kelly's Ferry Road in what authorities would later describe as a targeted attack. The brutal incident also resulted in the deaths of 29-year-old Caleb N. Boozer and 24-year-old Jon E. Morris.
