In the late summer of 2014, the community of Oakfield, Tennessee, was shaken by the discovery of a young man's body. On the morning of Saturday, August 2, 2014, the remains of 18-year-old Jodarius McNuckles were found on Ashport Road. An investigation by the Madison County Sheriff's Office determined that McNuckles had been the victim of a homicide, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
