Death by Force

Alejandro Leos, a 41-year-old transgender woman, was tragically shot and killed on September 5, 2014, in North Memphis, Tennessee. Leos, who also went by the name Alejandra, was riding away on a bicycle after an argument with her 21-year-old lover, Marshall Pegues. The altercation occurred in front of Leos' home on Berkshire near Jackson and Chelsea. Pegues was later indicted on first-degree murder charges and has been held without bond in the Shelby County Jail.
