Joe Fifer, a 22-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically died on January 9, 2016. He was found shot to death in the 4700 block of Haven Court in the Tulane Apartments, along with Tamara Davis, a 26-year-old pregnant woman. The incident was part of a robbery gone wrong. Gerald Shields, one of the suspects, confessed to planning the robbery with two other males. Shields' role was to knock on the door, while the other two entered and fired shots.
