On a spring afternoon in Charlotte, Tennessee, the life of 29-year-old Quintin Dewayne Tidwell was cut short by gunfire. The violent encounter on April 12, 2016, also resulted in the death of 23-year-old Marcedez Teroy Bell and left a third man, Montae Springer, seriously injured with multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting erupted at a public picnic area, shattering the peace of the small town.
