James Morton, a 25-year-old male from Memphis, TN, tragically died on November 5, 2016. He was shot to death in the parking lot of the Quick Mart convenience store at 1908 S. Lauderdale. According to police reports, Morton was attempting to buy drugs from two individuals, Donte Kerr and Keidrick Daniel, when the situation escalated.
