Nicholas Allen Strange, a 23-year-old male from Knoxville, TN, tragically lost his life on December 7, 2016. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a Weigel's convenience store on Governor John Sevier Highway. Strange was shot by Jason Patrick Nasca, 41, following a verbal altercation that stemmed from a traffic dispute. Nasca, who had a carry permit, turned the gun on himself after shooting Strange. Both men were from Knoxville and did not know each other prior to the incident.
