Her life was cut short on April 7, 2017, a fact that would become painfully clear after a seemingly unrelated incident. The discovery of her passing began with a car accident, a routine event that quickly escalated into a homicide investigation.
Law enforcement officers responding to the scene of the crash made a grim discovery inside the trunk of the
vehicle involved. There, they found the body of Tammy Hall. The driver of the car, Joshua Mincey, was immediately taken into custody. The focus of the investigation quickly shifted to Mincey, who was soon accused of being responsible for Hall's death.
The legal proceedings that followed brought some measure of closure to the case. In May 2018, Joshua Mincey appeared in court and pleaded guilty to the murder of Tammy Hall.
