On May 17, 2017, 57-year-old Ned Haywood was shot and killed in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred near 27th and Benton Avenue just before 11 a.m. that day. The police responded to a report of gunshots in the area and found Ned suffering from gunshot wounds. He was quickly taken to a local hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted.
