On a late March day in 2018, the life of 35-year-old Shawn Pruitt Foster came to a tragic and abrupt end in Harrison, Tennessee. A man known for his infectious smile and contagious laugh, he was found deceased in what authorities would later describe as a murder-suicide. His wife, Melanie Rae Foster, was identified as the other party in the devastating event that left their three children without parents.
