Marcus Tucker, a 32-year-old man from Chicago, was shot and killed on January 3, 2012. The incident occurred during a period when Chicago was experiencing a wave of violent crime, particularly in neighborhoods plagued by ongoing issues of gang activity and socioeconomic challenges.
