Javarius Cole, a 24-year-old male, tragically lost his life on September 3, 2018, in a violent encounter in the Highland Heights neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. The incident unfolded during a dispute involving Cole and a relative of Koski Mathews.

During the altercation, Mathews brandished a firearm and shot Cole multiple times. In the immediate aftermath, an associate of Cole's reportedly returned fire, striking Mathews. Despite his own injuries, Mathews was able to secure his weapon ...
