Death by Force

Denisha Jones, a 19-year-old woman from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on December 20, 2018. She was fatally shot by Prestige Brown, also 19, while they were inside an apartment at the Peppertree Apartments on Eastwind Street. According to police reports, Brown was showing a gun to another woman in the apartment when he accidentally fired a live round, striking Jones in the chest. Despite immediate medical attention, Jones succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
