Darmel Stokes, aged 32, was shot and killed on August 31, 2017, in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred in the Baden neighborhood, a northern part of the city known for recurring violent incidents. Stokes was reportedly found in a critical condition after police responded to calls reporting gunshots in the area. He succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to the hospital.
