In the late spring of 2020, the community of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, was shaken by the violent end to the life of Benjamin Allen 'Ben' Cunningham, a 28-year-old male. On the morning of May 28th, police responded to reports of gunfire at the Lawrence Landing Apartments on Oak Street. Inside one of the units, they discovered the bodies of Benjamin Cunningham and a second victim, 38-year-old Corie J. Williams. Both men had been fatally shot in what was determined to be a double homicide.
