Octavious LaShun Atkins, a 27-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on June 19, 2020. He was fatally shot at a southwest Memphis intersection, where two vehicles were stopped at Shelby Drive and Neely Road. A third vehicle pulled up, and the driver began shooting, striking Atkins multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooter's vehicle, a white Mercedes SUV, was found burning behind a nearby building, but the driver was not immediately located.
