In the early morning hours of July 22, 2020, in Church Hill, Tennessee, a single gunshot abruptly ended the life of 20-year-old Kenneth Clay Carr. Found on Jefferson Avenue with a gunshot wound to the head, he was quickly transported to Johnson City Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Carr succumbed to his injuries, leaving a community to grapple with the sudden and violent loss of a young life.
