In a tragic turn of events on January 22, 2021, Russell 'Rusty' Craig Williams, a 50-year-old male from Newport, Tennessee, was fatally shot at his residence. The incident unfolded when Garrett Dustin Cameron allegedly arrived at the home and demanded the keys to a vehicle. When Williams did not comply, Cameron is said to have shot him.
