In the summer of 2021, a grim discovery was made in a South Memphis neighborhood that would leave a family mourning and police searching for answers. On July 1st of that year, the body of 66-year-old Norman Lott was found lying in the road in the 1200 block of South Bellevue Boulevard, near the Bellevue Inn. The initial cause of death was not immediately clear as investigators from the Memphis Police Department began their work to piece together the events that led to this tragic end.
