Amise Gales, a 24-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically died on October 5, 2021. His death was the result of a shooting incident at the Ridgecrest Apartments in the Frayser neighborhood of Memphis. According to reports, Gales was attempting to intervene in a physical altercation between two women when Jaydevin Benson, the boyfriend of one of the women, began shooting at him. Gales returned fire but was struck in the chest and subsequently died at the scene.
