Authorities have released the name of a 22-year-old Birmingham man was shot to death Monday night inside his Highland Park apartment.
Birmingham police identified the victim as Rakeem Alexander. The shooting happened at 9:21 p.m. inside Alexander's home at the corner of 30th Street and Clairmont Avenue, where he lived with his grandfather.
