On a June evening in 2017, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama, a victim of circumstance in a dispute that was not his own. Antonio Brooks II, a 20-year-old male, was driving with friends along Jefferson Avenue Southwest on June 20th when he was struck by a stray bullet. The gunshot wound to his torso caused him to lose control of his vehicle, which then crashed. Emergency responders found him unresponsive in the driver's seat.
