On January 11, 1973, Wallace Friday, a 54-year-old African American male from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot in his home. The incident occurred in the early morning hours, and despite immediate medical attention, Mr. Friday succumbed to his injuries shortly after the shooting.
