Robert Budd Dwyer, aged 47, was the Treasurer of Pennsylvania who tragically died on January 22, 1987, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was a male of Caucasian ethnicity. Dwyer's death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound during a live televised press conference. He used a .357 Magnum revolver that he pulled from a manila envelope in his briefcase.
