Gianni David Gossitt, 22, male, was found unresponsive in a north Minneapolis alley late on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Officers were dispatched a little after 10 p.m. to the 3900 block of Dupont Avenue North, where he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner later identified him and determined he died from a gunshot wound to the chest. He lived only a few blocks from where he was found, and his death was ruled a homicide.
