On a summer evening in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on June 16, 2015, the life of a young African-American man was cut short. Eric Darvell Ferguson, a 22-year-old male, was in the front yard of a residence on the 3900 block of Fremont Avenue North when he became the victim of a drive-by shooting. Struck by multiple gunshots, he was rushed to North Memorial Medical Center for emergency care.
