In the early moments of December 4, 2023, the life of 34-year-old Darius Renee Wilson, a Black/African American male from Burnsville, Minnesota, was tragically cut short. Just after midnight, at approximately 12:05 a.m., gunfire erupted near the intersection of East Lake Street and 12th Avenue South in Minneapolis. When police arrived at the scene, they found Wilson on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest; he was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman in her 40s was also struck ...
