A man is shot multiple times while sitting in his vehicle outside a party
Mohamed Omar Aden, 25, male, Somali, was shot to death in the early morning hours of June 1, 2013, in northeast Minneapolis. Police were called at about 4:34 a.m. to the 2400 block of Washington Street NE, where the Hennepin County medical examiner later identified Aden as the victim. Contemporary reports describe a quiet residential stretch shaken awake by gunfire and flashing squad lights as officers converged on the block.
