James William Naim, a 32-year-old male police officer of the Aliquippa City Police Department, tragically died on March 15, 2001, while on foot patrol in the Linmar Terrace public housing complex in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. Naim, who was a U.S. Navy veteran and had served with the Aliquippa Police Department for approximately 14 months, was shot and killed by a suspect who approached him from behind and fired four shots into the back of his head.
