Karon Thomas, a 20-year-old male from Aliquippa, PA, tragically lost his life on January 23, 2021. He was fatally shot in the 1100 block of Irwin Street in Aliquippa. The incident led to the arrest of Rico Rodgers Jr., a 21-year-old man from Aliquippa, who was charged with criminal homicide and two firearms violations. Rodgers was apprehended by Pennsylvania State Police in Homewood, Allegheny County, and denied bail while awaiting his preliminary hearing.
