Corporal Joseph Raymond Pokorny Jr., aged 45, was a dedicated member of the Pennsylvania State Police, having served for over 22 years. On the night of December 12, 2005, Corporal Pokorny was fatally shot during a traffic stop near an exit ramp from I-376 in Carnegie, Pennsylvania.
