Naomi Rose Ebersol, a 7-year-old Amish girl from Paradise, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life on October 2, 2006. Naomi was a second-grade student at the West Nickel Mines Parochial School and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. On that fateful day, a gunman named Charles Carl Roberts IV, a 32-year-old milk truck driver, entered the school and took ten girls, aged 6 to 13, hostage.
