In the quiet, rolling hills of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, a tragedy unfolded that would forever mark the small community of Nickel Mines. On October 2, 2006, a gunman shattered the peace of the West Nickel Mines School, a one-room Amish schoolhouse. Among the victims of this horrific act was Lena Zook Miller, a 7-year-old Amish girl.
