Death by Force

John White Pork Strand, a 19-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Chester, PA, tragically died on August 7, 2007. He was shot and killed following a confrontation at Green and McIlvain streets. According to the Delaware County Medical Examiner’s office, Strand died of a single gunshot wound to the left arm. He was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:26 p.m.
