In the spring of 2008, the life of a charismatic and talented hip-hop artist was tragically cut short in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Jean Armand J Dott, a 26-year-old Black man also known by his stage name 'J-Dott Com' and to his loved ones as Jean Nerette, was a vibrant presence in his community. Born in Haiti on June 24, 1981, he had moved to Long Island in the late 1980s before eventually making Allentown his home.
