Anthony J. Newman, a 26-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Chester, PA, tragically died on March 7, 2009. He was a longtime resident of Chester and was well-known in the community. Anthony was a cook at a McDonald's restaurant in Media and also worked at the ShopRite in the area. His death was the result of a shooting, and he passed away at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland.
