Tamir Ricks, a 31-year-old African American male from Chester, PA, was tragically gunned down on May 1, 2013, in the 1000 block of Beverly Lane. Shot multiple times, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe that Ricks, who was studying criminal justice at Delaware County Community College and was the father of two young children, was shot during a robbery.
