Caressa M. Kovalcik, a 23-year-old woman from Windber, Pennsylvania, tragically passed away on May 31, 2014. She was nine months pregnant at the time of her death. Caressa was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia, and was adopted by Robert J. and Anne Kovalcik on September 11, 2001. She was a hardworking waitress who loved music, the Pittsburgh Penguins, cookouts, and spending time with her family. Caressa was also a devoted mother to her two children, Denver Jr. and Abrianna.
