In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, a dispute inside a local bar escalated to a fatal conclusion for 29-year-old Yusef Ali Wilson. On April 25, 2015, at the Fifth Avenue Tavern, what began as a verbal exchange between Wilson and another man, Derrick Jermaine Boone, turned violent. The argument, reportedly over a woman, led to Wilson throwing a punch and then a chair at Boone. In response, Boone produced a handgun and opened fire.
