Frederick Deangelo Swilling, a 24-year-old African American man from Detroit, tragically lost his life on May 1, 2015, in Bessemer, Pennsylvania. His body was discovered near Mohawk Elementary School, approximately 50 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Swilling succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds to the head and trunk.
