James Dewyer, a 68-year-old retired corrections officer, was found shot to death in his car on Kinkora Road in Mansfield, PA, on January 3, 2016. The incident was later declared a homicide by the Burlington County Medical Examiner's Office. Dewyer, who had served as a state corrections officer for 30 years, was discovered slumped over in his vehicle by a passerby.
