In March of 2010, the promising life of 23-year-old Diana Demayo, a white female and recent honors graduate from the University of Miami, was tragically cut short in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. She was brutally murdered on March 11 in a downtown apartment at the Fort Shelby Tower. On that day, Demayo was helping a friend, 24-year-old Peter Dabish, move into his new residence.
