Kimberly Mabins, age 45, tragically lost her life on May 21, 2015, in Detroit, Michigan, in an incident classified as a homicide. The details surrounding her death point to a murder-suicide situation involving her husband, Greg Mabins. According to reports, Greg Mabins shot Kimberly in the back just a couple of hours after they had seen their son off to his high school prom. After committing the crime, Greg called his mother-in-law to tell her what he had done before taking his own life.
