In the early hours of a Wednesday morning, the quiet of a Coatesville, Pennsylvania neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. David Wayne Fitzsimmons, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound. The other victim, 46-year-old William Chance, a White male, was found critically injured. Emergency medical services were called, and Chance was rushed to Paoli Hospital for treatment. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
