Shanique Sanders, a 23-year-old Black woman, tragically lost her life on November 30, 2016, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was found shot and lying in the street on McKinley Street in the Knoxville neighborhood. Shanique was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at UPMC Mercy Hospital. The incident occurred in the afternoon, and police were alerted to the scene by a report of a shooting.
