William Bethel, a 16-year-old male student at Boys' Latin of Philadelphia Charter School, tragically lost his life on April 1, 2018, in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred during an argument on South Street, Philadelphia, where William was shot by 18-year-old Zahmir White. The altercation began shortly before 6 p.m., and White allegedly pulled out a gun and fired at William, hitting him in the buttocks and pelvis.
