In the summer of 2019, a dispute between a landlord and his tenant over rent escalated into a fatal encounter in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Matthew Andrew Khoury, a 37-year-old male, was shot and killed in his Kincaid Street home in the early morning hours of July 22, 2019.
