On October 29, 2019, Alex Rodriguez, a 23-year-old Black male, was tragically shot multiple times in a 2005 Buick LeSabre on the 7000 block of Algard Street in Philadelphia, PA. He was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries that evening. Another victim, a 24-year-old Black male, was shot once in the back and survived after being admitted to the same hospital.
