Lydia Alamillo Bulaon, a 72-year-old woman of Filipino descent, died on Thursday, October 31, 2019, in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. Her life was cut short during an argument with her 88-year-old boyfriend, Bernard Pedreira, at their home in Tunkhannock Township. Bulaon, a registered nurse who had worked at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, was born in Manila, Philippines, and had lived in Englewood, New Jersey, before moving to Long Pond two decades prior to her death.
